Eating local in Indianapolis

SustainableIndiana2016.What does it mean to eat local in Indianapolis? It meansinvesting in a local food system by supporting local farmers who work hard to bring fresh, wholesome food to the community through farmers markets, CSAs (community supported agriculture), and other kinds of subscription services.Eating local also means growing your own garden, either at your home or in a community garden. And finally, eating local means canning and preserving the abundance—either purchased or grown—to enjoy during the winter.

Eating local means eating for change!
